Skulio - Dusome ("we", "us", "the platform") is a cloud-based, mobile-first school operating platform operated by Izyo Digital Suite for schools, teachers, parents and students in Rwanda and East Africa. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it.

To operate Student 360 and connected modules, we process: student identity (name, admission number, date of birth, photo), family and guardian contacts, attendance, academic performance, fees and payments, transport assignments and communications. We also collect account credentials, role assignments and audit-trail metadata for authorized users.

We use your data to provide the platform's features — maintaining student records, recording attendance, managing fees and payments, sharing homework and report cards with parents, and sending notifications. We never sell personal data. Aggregated, de-identified statistics may be used to improve the product.

Data is shared only within the school community it belongs to and with authorized roles under strict RBAC. Schools are organization-isolated: one school can never access another's records. We share data with payment and notification providers solely to complete the relevant transaction, and with Rwanda's SDMS only where a school authorizes an integration.

Because student data concerns children, Skulio - Dusome is built around Rwanda's Data Protection & Privacy Law (Law N°058/2021). We require parental or guardian authorization before creating a student record, and parents can request access, correction or deletion of their child's data through their school.

Records are encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is logged for audit. Data is retained for the duration a student is enrolled and for the period required by Rwandan education record-keeping regulations, after which it is archived or deleted at the school's direction.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and may withdraw consent for processing where applicable. Submit requests through your school administrator or to info@izyogroup.com.
